Never Letting Go

On June 16, 2011, our lives changed again. Your picture had captured our heart for months but as your tiny hand took our hands - we knew in an instant we were meant to be here at this exact time.

We are Never Letting You Go Little One.

Friends reading this blog - we have been without internet and finally got it working last night. I promise...more details later. But it is going well. There is so much to wrap our minds around and we are just focusing on Little One and bonding. She is a precious little soul and we are so thankful God brought her into our lives.

She is smart...before we went in we told her it was time to go back to her groupa...so she shoved almost an entire cookie in her mouth before going back in. She is a spunky little thing!
She will hold her little hands up to me and ask me to hold her. I think most of the time Eli and I are on the edge of tears. It's difficult to explain how you feel once you get here. Thankful God placed us on this journey, bombarded with sights, sounds, and experiences and always remembering we are to continue following His footsteps with every decision we make.

Please pray for continued bonding and attachment.

We are HERE!!!!!!

We've been thinking of you, so glad you got to meet your girl! Isn't she just precious?? I've been showing Kenzie your blog and she wants to see "mo piscures" lol, she still recognizes her friends and some things at the baby house. If you get a chance could you tell all the nannies hello from us? They will know the kids as Sasha and Albina, especially Natasha and Luda, they were Kenzie's favorites. We're so happy for you and little one!

Kim, I love your posts! I love seeing yours and Eli's love for your darling little girl! She is truly beautiful and will be such a blessing in your home, where you will be a blessing to her as you teach her about a Savior, God and man, who loves her even more than you do. I noticed in your last post about you reading "Crazy Love" (one of my favs!), and I would also encourage you to read "Radical" by David Platt if you have not yet done so. Like Francis Chan, he truly leads by example, and his book is based on the Bible, not his own thoughts. If you ever come to B'ham for a weekend, we will take you to church to hear him speak. Praying for a speedy journey home :)

She is so sweet. I love seeing Eli on that teeter tooter with her, what a great daddy. She is going into a very special family, you are truly blessed to have each other. I look forward to seeing the rest of your journey.
